Terms of Use

Short terms, on purpose.

By using Braveclimb, you agree to these. Version 1, effective 12 July 2026.

What Braveclimb is (and isn't)

Braveclimb is a self-improvement tool for practicing everyday courage. It isn't therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care — if anxiety is significantly affecting your life, a licensed professional can help in ways an app can't. You choose your own challenges; keep them safe, legal, and kind to yourself.

Braveclimb is a general-wellness product. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and nothing in the app is medical or psychological advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line — not an app.

Your challenges, your call

Braveclimb lets you define and track challenges you choose for yourself. You are solely responsible for what you choose to do. Don't log challenges that are unsafe, unlawful, or harmful to you or anyone else, and use your judgment about what stretch is right for you. Braveclimb provides encouragement and bookkeeping, not supervision.

Your data

Your data stays on your device — see the privacy policy. Because Braveclimb has no server-side copy, you are responsible for backups: the app reminds you, and Settings makes it a two-tap job. If you delete the app without a backup, your data is gone and we cannot recover it.

Summit Club (future)

Braveclimb's core — logging, streaks, progression, backups, privacy features — is free. A paid tier ("Summit Club") may be offered in the future. If it ships with an auto-renewing subscription, the price, term, and renewal and cancellation mechanics will be disclosed at the point of purchase and managed through your app store account, as required by the platform. Until then, no part of Braveclimb charges money.

Tips

Settings has a tip jar. Tips are entirely voluntary and unlock nothing — there is no supporter tier, no badge, no feature that a tip turns on, and the app behaves identically whether you tip or never do. Tapping it opens a page in your browser, run by a third-party payment platform (Ko-fi) under its own terms and privacy policy; the payment happens there, not in the app, and we never see your payment details or learn whether you tipped. Tips are gifts, not purchases: they are non-refundable through the app, and refunds are a matter for the payment platform.

As-is

Braveclimb is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or from the challenges you choose to undertake. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version lives at this location with its effective date. Continuing to use Braveclimb after a change means you accept the updated terms.
